BASKETBALL YOUTH

DBC offers several youth basketball programs across the South Shore area, including Saint-Constant. Whether your child is just starting or already has advanced skills, we have the perfect program to suit their needs. At DBC, we have a policy to never refuse a child from our club—no matter their skill level, location, or situation, your child will always have a place here at DBC.

Girls Program

Recreational Teams (D3)

Our girls’ basketball program offers a safe, positive, and inclusive space for girls aged 10–17 to build skills, create friendships, and enjoy the game. Guided by experienced female coaches and mentors, the program includes practices, games, and a small girls’ league with local community centers.

Thanks to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program, this initiative is possible. We are proud to have Jumpstart’s support in helping provide opportunities for young girls to grow, compete, and thrive through sport.

DBC Program

Competitive Teams (D3)
Similar to Division 3 basketball. Teams train twice a week and play two House League games per month, focusing on skill development, game IQ, and teamwork while competing against strong opponents.

Groups are mixed and open to players ages 6 to 10.

Recreational Teams (D4)
Similar to Division 4 basketball. Teams practice once a month and play one friendly game per month, with an emphasis on fun, fundamentals, and improvement in a relaxed environment.

Groups are mixed and open to players ages 6 to 10.

Select Program

Select Teams (D2)

The Hawks Program is DBC's high-level competitive basketball program, comparable to Division 2 (AA) competition. Only selected players from the tryouts are chosen to participate in this program. Athletes represent the club in the Montreal Basketball League (MBL) and compete in tournaments throughout the season.. The Hawks compete against strong opponents while preparing athletes to elevate their game to the next level.
